Look at your hands for a moment. They likely bear marks that tell stories – perhaps a scar from cooking, a callus from work, or wrinkles from age. Jesus’ hands also tell a story – the greatest love story ever told. The marks in His hands remind us of the lengths He went to make us His own. These same nail-scarred hands now hold us securely, telling us we are precious, purchased, and protected.

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. – John 10:28

How does understanding the cost Jesus paid to hold you change your perspective on His love for you?

Quote Those hands marked by the nails, those hands that were given for you and for me. In so doing, he holds in his hand each and every one of us.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for the marks of love in Your hands. Help me live today as one who is precious to You, secure in Your loving grip. Amen.
