The Choice to Believe

Devotional

Like Thomas, we sometimes work harder at disbelieving than believing. We question, doubt, and demand proof, often missing the beautiful evidence of God’s work right before our eyes. Yet Jesus doesn’t reject us for our doubts. Instead, He invites us to move from skepticism to faith, from questioning to trusting. The choice to believe isn’t about ignoring our questions but about choosing to trust despite them.

Bible Verse

“The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people.” – Acts 5:12

Reflection Question

In what areas of your life are you working harder to disbelieve than to trust God’s promises?

Quote

“Stop working so hard to disbelieve and believe. Trust me and see.”

Prayer

Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve worked harder to doubt than to believe. Help me to trust You more fully, even when I can’t see the whole picture. Strengthen my faith today. Amen.
